I had an amazing experience at The George on Collins! The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. A special shoutout to Tom, who hosted us for the night, he was very attentive and super friendly, and made the whole experience feel extra special. Highly recommend this place for a great night out in Melbourne! ✨

We dined at George on Collins before a show. We were seated by a welcoming, friendly waiter. Our food didn’t take long, however we did arrive at 5:30pm. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were very satisfying. It was well priced for city dining and for the service and portion sizes. The atmosphere was also really nice. Music wasn’t too loud that you couldn’t hear the person next to you which is something I personally enjoy. Thank you for a great experience.

Had an amazing lunch here on a recent visit. The food was phenomenal. I would highly recommend the oysters and the ribs. The service from Mae was polished but also down to earth. She was very familiar with the menu and explained a few dishes to us in detail as we couldn’t decide what to get. The food and drinks came out quickly. Will definitely be back

Absolutely mind blowing! By far one of the best restaurants in the city. I was truly impressed by our experience here. The staff are super friendly, kind, helpful and professional. We arrived they during the happy hour and all the drinks were amaizngly delicious and professionally made. Among the appetizers, we really LOVED roasted bone marrow and all the other mains were equally delicious - we had the steak and wayuga noodle. Couldn't point on one matter to improve as everything was perfect and I highly recommend here to everyone else.

We've been in Australia for 2.5 weeks and this was easily the BEST dinner we have had! The flavour of the food was out of this world. The shrimp dumplings are unbelievable - we could eat them for breakfast , lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed the edamame's, shrimp fried rice and the wagyu beef stir fry. All had so much flavour and the spices were amazing. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was swanky and beautiful. We will be back! Highly recommend if you enjoy delicious food. Unfortunately the only photo I have is of our empty plates - the food was too good

Absolutely loved our experience at The George on Collins! The service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed without being intrusive. The food was incredible, full of flavour and beautifully presented (highly recommend the share plates!). The ambience was spot on — a stylish, modern vibe with just the right mix of energy and comfort. Perfect for a night out with friends or a date night. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful experience at George on Collins. The food was really good and the ambiance was great. We tried the Sambal Spiced Chicken Wings, Seafood Fried Rice, and the Wagyu Beef Stir Fry Noodles — everything was full of flavour, perfectly spiced, and really tasty. The cocktails were amazing as well. We ordered One Night in Paris, and it was so good! The staff were also incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even better Overall, a great dining experience. Definitely worth a visit! 🍽✨

My wife and I normally go to The George if we are going to watch a show at the Regent or Comedy Theatre for an early dinner. Atmosphere, restaurant / dining layout are great with very friendly assisting staff. Food is first class, and as we were early (around 4ish) all we could order is their 'bites' selection as the dinner menu doesn't start until 5pm onwards. We ordered 5x individual 'bite' dishes that were absolutely delicious and tasty....compliments to the Chef with his dish creativity..! We will be back again soon and we highly recommend The George.

Thanks for a great night once again , our Waitress Efa was a delight, took great care of us all evening. Food was absolutely delicious. Ambience was sooo pretty. I met my husband here 19 yrs ago & we Always Love ❤️🥂🥂 coming here. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend 🥂🥂💘
